Questions, answered.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Passwords, mail logins and 2FA secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM locally and XSalsa20-Poly1305 on the server. Sessions are bound to your hardware ID (HWID), and secrets are only ever transmitted over HTTPS.
How do Steam Guard codes work here?
You enter each account's shared_secret once — after that Smile Account generates valid 2FA codes offline, every 30 seconds, right next to your account list. No phone needed.
What are credits?
One credit equals one account slot. Every new user gets 5 credits for free at sign-up — no card required. Need more slots? Buy a credit pack once — 5, 10, 20, 35, 40 or 50 credits. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and credits never expire.
Will the app get me banned?
Smile Account doesn't touch game servers — it's a local manager and monitor. Ban data comes straight from the official Steam API, so you always see the real status of every account.
Which systems are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. The app auto-updates itself, so you're always on the latest version.
